Vishnu

Make, test, and build Vishnu cartridge games

Vishnu is a CLI and TypeScript SDK for making small simulation games. A game is one cartridge.ts file: a world, the actors in it, the rules that run each step, the commands a player can issue, and the windows the player sees. The vishnu command creates a starter project, checks it, runs its tests on the real simulation kernel, and builds a static site you can play in a browser.

The kernel is a prebuilt WebAssembly file pinned by SHA-256, so you never need Rust or Cargo to make a game. The same kernel runs your headless tests in Node and the game in the browser.
